Nsongmy Tchoufack William Aurelien A.K.A Big Game is and Afro Hip Hop artist, born on the 3rd of August in Bamenda, Cameroon. Big Game is the middle child in his family with 2 siblings, all boys. His parents are natives of the western region of Cameroon.
Big Game started rapping and writing songs at the age of 14 while in a missionary boarding school. He recorded his first demo tape in 2009 and from then he just kept making music. Still in secondary school, Big Game founded a band called ACES with fellow rapper friend Jay Krimzz and together they used to freestyle around the dormitories an also perform at school social events that made them popular in their secondary school.
In 2015 upon completion of his vocational studies in business management the rapper moved from his hometown of Bamenda to Douala, the economic capital of Cameroon to grab the opportunities there and officially launch his music career as an independent artist.
Since then he’s been dropping singles and videos back to back and an EP called “Original Mutumbu”, released in December of 2018.
The rapper is undoubtedly one of the best lyricists on the continent of Africa and has set goals for himself to be recognized amongst the batch of African artists that’ll touch a global audience with the African sound.
Nsongmy Tchoufack William Aurelien A.K.A Big Game est un artiste qui fait de l’Afro Hip Hop, né le 3 août à Bamenda au Cameroun. Big Game est le deuxième né de trois garçons. Ses parents sont originaires de la région de l’ouest du Cameroun.
Big Game a commencé à rapper et à écrire des textes à l’âge de 14 ans alors qu’il était dans un internat presbytérien. Il a enregistré sa première démo en 2009 et à partir de là, il a continué à faire de la musique. Toujours à l’école secondaire, Big Game a fondé un groupe appelé ACES avec son ami rappeur Jay Krimzz et ensemble, ils avaient l’habitude de faire du freestyle au dortoir et se produisez également lors des kermès qui les ont rendus populaires dans leur école.
En 2015, après avoir terminé ses études professionnelles en gestion d’entreprise, le rappeur a quitté sa ville natale de Bamenda pour Douala, la capitale économique du Cameroun pour saisir les opportunités du showbiz que la ville propose pour afin lancer officiellement sa carrière musicale en tant qu’artiste indépendant.
Depuis, il sort des singles et des vidéos et un EP intitulé “Original Mutumbu”, sorti en décembre 2018.
Le rappeur est sans aucun doute l’un des meilleurs paroliers du continent africain et s’est fixé comme objectif d’être reconnu parmi le lot d’artistes africains qui toucheront un public mondial avec le son africain.
